Blackberry has announced that it will introduce its upcoming phone codenamed “Athena” as Key 2 at New York, 7th June. The phone is designed with same traditional Qwerty keyboard technology, also it has a dual rear camera this time.
Coming to its specs, the phone comes with 4.5-inch 3:2 display with 1620 x 1080 pixels resolution along with a glass protection from scratch. Under the hood, it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC clocked at 2.2GHz Quad-Core processor and coupled with Adreno 512 GPU. For storage, it has 6GB RAM, 64GB internal storage which is expandable up to 2TB with an external MicroSD card.
On the camera department, it has dual 12MP rear camera sensor along with dual-tone LED flash. Front side it features 8MP camera sensor for selfies. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system and it is powered by 3360mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick charge 3.0 technology. On the connectivity front it offers, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4 & 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS / GLONASS, NFC and USB 3.1 Type-C.
Coming back to its design, it has 4-raw Qwerty keyboard placed on the front side below the display with capacitive touch. Also, it is fingerprint sensor on the right edge of the phone.
