Vivo X20 Plus clears 3C certifications with under-screen fingerprint sensor

At MVC 2017 vivo has introduced its unknown phone with under-screen fingerprint sensor technology. Today Chines 3C certification website has certified a model with “Vivo X20 Plus UD” name,  which may be that first phone. However there is a rumor in the market that Vivo will be the first company that will use under-screen fingerprint sensor in its phone. Still we can not say that this phone with UD tag which stands for under display fingerprint sensor.

This certification website is usually not listing more specifications details of any device, but this can be signal that this phone is going to hit the market very soon. According to a report from Forbes this under display fingerprint scanner is from Synaptic’s new clear ID fingerprint technology. In detail, user have to press a button on right or left edges to wake up the phone, which will show the scanner at bottom of the screen. This technology is designed for OLED display which is used in flagship phones.
