Triumph India has launched new flagship adventure bike called Triumph Tiger 1200 XCx in India at Rs.17 Lakh ex-showroom. There are six modes available for Triumph Tiger 1200 globally, but only XCx is launched in India. Triumph Tiger 1200 series was launched back in November at EICMA event at Milan.
Starting with its design, Triumph has managed to lower the weight of this bike up to 11kg as compare to its previous model, with saving weight on the chassis, engine and the exhaust. The bike has some upgraded electronic such as up to 6 drive modes, hill hold assist, traction control and the Inertial Measurement unit (IMU). Apart from this company has added some features like electric windscreen adjustment, optional heated grips and seats and 12W power outlets.
Coming to its engine measurements, Tiger 1200XCx is featured with 1,215 cc engine with three in-line motors to reach 139 bhp at 9,350 rpm and 122 Nm of peak torque at 7,600 rpm. The engine is mated to a six-speed manual transmission which gets bi-directional quick-shifter.
Talking of some other features like 5-inch fully digital instrumentation console, backlit switchgear, all LED lighting, adaptive cornering lights and an updated cruise control along with keyless ignition as well.
