Xiaomi has announced its latest mid-range and flagship killer phones with pop-up selfie camera earlier this week in China. Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro are official in China with 6/64GB, 6/128GB, 8/128GB and 8/256GB of RAM and internal storage variants. Now, the Redmi K20 Pro with 12GB RAM is listed on Chines certification website TENNA. However, there is no official information available about this variant from the company for now.
According to recent rumors, the Redmi K20 Pro may come with a special edition of 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. Apart from the RAM upgradation, other specifications and design of the phone will remain the same.
To recall, the Redmi K20 Pro is featured with 6.39-inch super AMOLED display with 1080 x 2340 pixels (FHD+) resolutions and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The display is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection and comes with the in-display-fingerprint sensor. Under the hood, the phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC coupled with Adreon 640 GPU.
On the optic side, the phone comes with 48MP Sony IMX586 primary rear camera sensor with f/1.75 aperture, 13MP wide-angle secondary rear camera sensor with f/2.4 aperture and 8MP telephoto third rear camera sensor with f/2.4 aperture. Front side, it offers 20MP pop-up selfie camera sensor protected with Sapphire lens.
It runs on EMUI 10.0 based on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. To keep its light on, it is powered by 4000mAh battery with 27W fast charging support.
The Redmi K20 Pro with 8/256GB RAM and internal storage is available at CNY 2999 (approx USD 435 / INR 30,000). So we can expect 12/256GB RAM and internal storage variant to come around 500 USD price tag.
