New Android SHIELD TV Box from NVIDIA may launch soon

NVIDIA has launched its first Android SHILED TV box four years ago, which was the best Android TV box available in the market. As per a report from XDA Developers, the company is trying hard to refresh its Android TV box from a couple of years. But most of its project related to the Android TV box is getting failed.

A codename of NVIDIA SHIELD has been spotted in the Google Play Developer Console Device Catalog, which makes us think towards the company’s upcoming Android TV box.

The upcoming SHIELD TV Box will have Android 9.0 Pie, which was Android 8.0 Oreo on the previous 2017 SHIELD TV box. The device is expected to come with chipset and operating system upgradation. The upcoming SHIELD TV box will have new Tegra X1 chipset, which has better performance, and more power efficient capabilities.

That’s all we know about the upcoming SHIELD TV box. We can expect only the more performance, and power efficient TV box this year if the company decides to stand alone in the market.
