Korean company LG has announced its first 5G phone named LG V50 ThinQ at MVC 2019. The phone was already launched by the Sprint carrier with 5G connectivity at the end of last month. Now Verizon is the second carrier to adopt LG V50 ThinQ with 5G connectivity from 20 June.
“Up to Speed” video bulletin from Verizon has said in the video, that the latest 5G phone from the LG will go on sale from tomorrow. It has been much time since the phone was launched, but due to lack of 5G connectivity, finally, you will get your hand on the phone starting from tomorrow.
To recall, LG V50 ThinQ is featured with 6.4-inch Full Vision OLED display with 3120 x 1440 (QHD+) pixels resolutions, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 528ppi and HDR 10. Under the hood, it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. The internal storage is expandable up to 2TB with an external MicroSD card.
On the imaging department, LG has followed the triple rear camera trend with 16MP super wide-angle primary camera sensor with f/1.9 aperture, 12MP RGB secondary camera sensor with f/1.5 aperture and 12MP third telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture. On the front side, it features 8MP primary sensor f/1.9 aperture and 5MP secondary wide-angle camera sensor with f/2.2 aperture.
On the connectivity front it offers, 3G, 4G LTE-A, 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, and NFC. To keep its light on, it is powered with 4000mAh non-removable battery with 10W fast wireless charger.
