Meizu has launched a new mid-range smartphone named Meizu V8 with MediaTek helio P22 SoC and 3100mAh battery. The phone comes with 3GB and 4GB variants in terms of RAM priced at 799 Yuan and 1098 Yuan respectively.
Starting with its design, it features the 5.7-inch display with HD+ (720 x 1440 pixels) resolutions, 18:9 aspect ratio and 2.5D curved glass on it. There is a body material difference in this two different variants, the 3GB variant made of polycarbonate and 4GB variant comes with a metal body. Under the hood it is powered by MediaTek Helio P22 SoC coupled with 2.2GHz octa-core processor and PowerVR GE8320 GPU. 3GB variant comes with 32GB internal storage and 4GB variant comes with 64GB internal storage. Internal storage is expandable up to 128GB with external MicroSD card for both variants.
Coming to its camera configuration, it sports dual rear camera with a 12MP primary sensor and 5MP secondary sensor with the f/2.2 aperture on both sensors. On the front side, it sports 5MP camera sensor with some of the best beauty features. To keep its light on, it is powered with a 3100mAh battery which supports mPower fast charging feature. It runs on Flyme OS based on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.
It measures 147.5 x 72.7 x 8.1 mm and weighs 159g of weight including the battery. On the connectivity front, it offers 4G VoLTE, Micro USB 2.0, Bluetooth v5.0, 3.5mm audio jack, Wi-Fi, and GPS/AGPS.
